Protective Clothing, Equipment and Devices

21. (4) Personal protective clothing and equipment that is provided, worn or used shall be a proper fit, having regard to all relevant factors including body types. O. Reg.

Hygiene
Note: On July 1, 2023, subsection 29 (4) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted: (See: O. Reg. 61/23, s. 2 (1))
29. (4) Subject to subsections (5) and (6), the facilities shall be located not more than 90 metres, where reasonably possible, and otherwise not more than 180 metres, measured horizontally, from the project work area. O. Reg. 61/23, s. 2 (1).
The Ministry of Labour has set out its construction industry initiatives for 2023/2024. Initiatives are essentially target areas where MOL inspectors will focus on compliance with regulations and legislation.
